So proud to represent and share the story of the Barbie brand and what it's like to work at an in-house agency. Thanks to the Ad Society for having me (and for giving me a good reason to visit my family)! What a fun night revisiting old stomping grounds and meeting new friends!

#WhatIReallyReallyWant...

Using the #WhatIReallyReallyWant hashtag, share a photo of yourself holding up what YOU really, really want for girls and women…

In 2015 world leaders promised to put girls and women first when they signed up to the Sustainable Development Goals to end poverty, fix climate change and tackle inequalities. Girls and women are disproportionately affected by these challenges and are key to building resilient communities to withstand them. That’s why we need to ensure World Leaders and the Secretary General of the United Nations listen to the voices of girls and women and put them first in policies and plans. 2016 is our chance to use our collective power and tell world leaders what we really really want for girls and women. If you make the noise, we’ll get your message to world leaders at the UN in September. The Global Goals will only ever be achieved if governments, businesses, communities and YOU invest in girls and women.

Meet Photographer Meiko Takechi

Today I had the pleasure of working with photographer Meiko Takechi and the BBDO creative team. Originally from Tokyo, Meiko now lives and works in Los Angeles. Her photos are colorful, graphic, lighthearted, and whimsical. And I LOVE THEM!! You can't help but smile when checking out the collection. Check out her visual sketches on instagram, her inspiring Los Angeles home, and her beautiful site.

The Most Moschino Barbie Ad Ever

Congratulations to the Barbie MARCOM team on this totally cool throwback commercial to celebrate the totally hot Moschino Barbie launch! Inspired by Barbie commercials of the 80's this spot nails it with amazing music, lyrics (Erica D. Green), lighting and set design. If that weren't enough, the dolls sold out in under an hour!! She IS the girl who has it all!!

Now let's talk about the boy who has it all!! Our mini Jeremy Scott, 7 year old Taylor Warren, has created a media sensation as the first boy to appear in a Barbie commercial, igniting conversations about gender neutrality. Bravo to the brand for continuing to be a lightning rod for conversations! Check out some of the amazing press below.
